The HO has published an updated guidance on requirements to self-isolate if you enter the UK from another country and but for a select group of people (see list on website) most are impacted.

Interesting to note that you still need to follow the same rules as people who live in the UK, even if you’re exempt from self-isolating for 14 days after you arrive.
