We are looking to add 2 advisers on a freelance and fee sharing basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking to grow and develop their case work. We will provide you with clients, but you will also have the opportunity to work on your own network of clients.
We are looking for someone who cares about their work, their clients and social impact. We provide pro-bono work for clients who are victims of domestic violence, single parents on income support and FGM victims which is our way of giving back to the public.
Our main office is in Milton Keynes however for this role you’ll be working remotely from home.
The candidates are expected to have an enthusiastic, professional attitude, take pride in their quality work, work well under pressure while respecting deadlines, and be comfortable working with clients while providing top customer service.
Daily Activities’ Overview:
Take instructions from clients, advice them on their options, complete Home Office applications
Carry out legal research, draft comprehensive and formal letters to relevant authorities, complete application forms, prepare appeal bundles, witness statements, grounds of appeal and review
Maintain good professional working relationships with clients and external organisations
Possibly carry out initial consultations with clients and develop case strategies
Requirements:
OISC registered or Solicitor
1 year minimum of working experience in immigration law at OISC level1 or above
UK law degree (e.g. LLB, LLM, LPC, GDL, BPTC, MA in Law…)
Desirable:
Monthly caseload experience of 15+ clients
Speak other languages other than English
SRA regulated or having worked for an SRA regulated organisation
